Troubleshooting Plaid Connections
At Mercury we use a third-party banking service called Plaid to connect external bank accounts to Mercury. This allows you to move funds easily between Mercury and your other bank accounts.
If you are receiving an error when trying to login to your external account, please ensure you are using the correct login and password. Some banks will also have multiple login methods for different account types or products so please double check you are selecting the right bank and login method from the dropdown.
It can be also be helpful to login to your bank directly and make sure there are no error messages or items you need to action before connecting.

Note: Sometimes connections to external accounts fail, so if linking does not work it is recommended that you try again in a few days. If your bank is not selectable from the Plaid dropdown, we are unable to support a connection at this time.
