Virtual cards are activated automatically, but physical cards need to be activated before their first use.

Activate your card

1. Go to mercury.com/activate and make sure you’re logged in with the Mercury account associated with the card.
   1. If you’re already on your dashboard, go to Cards in the left sidebar menu, click on the Unactivated card next to your name to pull up the card’s details, and click the blue Activate button.
2. Enter the CVC code.
3. Create and save a new PIN, which you can change anytime.
