If you need to find your Employer Identification Number (EIN) to complete your Mercury application (or for any other reason), there are a couple of places you can look.

• Check for any IRS letters or notifications you received in the mail. These will usually include your EIN number.
• If you used your EIN to get a business license or permit with a state agency, you can contact them and ask them to provide the number.
• You can call the IRS directly. The Business & Specialty Tax Line is 800-829-4933 and is open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm Eastern Standard Time. An IRS rep will ask you some questions to confirm you’re the business owner.
