Card Settings

We have a few ways that you can adjust your debit card direct from your Mercury account online and through our app!

Freezing a card

Maybe you have misplaced your card? You're sure it is around the house somewhere but to have a little peace of mind while you look, you can freeze the card directly from your account. 

1. Head to Cards on the left-hand menu.

2. Select the card that has been misplaced

3. Select the option to Freeze the card. 

This will prevent the card being used and any charges being processed while you locate it. Once you have located it, you can select Unfreeze to bring it back to its original state! If you have lost your card, you can select Cancel!

Change PIN

To change your PIN, select More Options > Change PIN. From here, you will be prompted to enter in your new PIN. Once you are done, select Enter and you will be all set!

Edit Card Nickname

Tired of just your regular name showing up next to your card and want to name it something super cool? You can do this by selecting More Options > Edit Card Nickname and you can name the card something practical like "Marketing Spend" or something fun like "The Coolest Card".

Cancel Card

Need to cancel your card? No worries! Select More Options > Cancel Card and confirm that you would like to cancel the card. Please note that this cannot be undone!

Edit Card Limits

When you initially set-up your card, you will have placed a limit on the spending available. If you ever need to change this, you can head to More Options > Edit Card Limits and then input the new limit you would like. Once you are done there, select save and your new limit will be applied going forwards.

You also have the option to choose Monthly or Daily card spending limits. 
 

The Mercury Debit Cards are issued by Choice Financial Group and Evolve Bank & Trust, Members FDIC, pursuant to licenses from Mastercard.

The IO Card is issued by Patriot Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard.
